Honeybee Healings
Honeybees have been essential since the dawn of time and have been revered for centuries for their medicine and their magic. We are excited to bring forth honeybee healings, primarily in the form of a bee healing house that will be constructed mid-2026. This specially designed building will contain 15 hives and "bee beds", spaces to lie safely on top of the hives and receive all of the medicine that being in close (and safe) proximity to bees offers.
How the Therapy Works
-
Acoustic & Vibration Therapy: Hives are placed beneath custom-made wooden benches or beds. As the bees fan their wings and vibrate their thoracic muscles, they create a low-frequency hum (around 200–500 Hz) and micro-vibrations. This "vibro-massage" is believed to balance the nervous system and induce deep relaxation.
-
Aerosol Inhalation: The air inside these huts is saturated with propolis, beeswax, nectar, and pollen. Breathing in the ionized, high-frequency charged aromatic air is a primary feature that supports respiratory health.
-
Sensory Immersion: The combination of the sweet scent of the hive and the rhythmic buzzing creates a meditative, calming environment that helps reduce stress and mental dis-ease.
Reported Benefits
-
Respiratory Support: Used for asthma, bronchitis, and allergies as a result of the antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of propolis.
-
Studies often focus on chronic conditions like asthma and bronchitis, where the therapy is used as an adjunctive treatment. A study conducted by Dr. János Körmendy-Rácz and Dr. Attila Márkus showed that 40% of participants experienced a total disappearance of respiratory symptoms, while 47% reported significant improvement.
-
Systematic Reviews: A 2024 systematic review of apitherapy in allergic asthma concluded that bee products effectively reduce inflammation markers and improve lung function parameters in both human and animal models.
-
Anti-Inflammatory Action: Inhalation of these aerosols is believed to inhibit pro-inflammatory pathways, helping to reduce mucus secretion and airway obstruction.
-
-
Stress Relief: The "bee hum" can lower cortisol levels and aid those with insomnia or anxiety.
-
The low-frequency sound therapy has been linked to parasympathetic nervous system activation, which can help lower cortisol levels and reduce stress. Studies have shown that being in close proximity to the hum of the hive can even reduce PTSD.
-
-
Physical Recovery: Some practitioners use it for chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and even to support immunity. Reports have shown improvements in sleep quality, overall physical well-being, and improved mood and focus.
-
Cellular Impact: Some preliminary research in vibrational medicine suggests these specific frequencies may stimulate cell regeneration and repair.
